I’m Joe Forshaw, with a degree in Psychology and a career in empathetic communication. Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, based on neuroscience, guides clients away from their past to a hopeful future. “You cannot move on to the next chapter of your life…if you are constantly re-reading the previous one.”
I have had a lifelong interest in Mental Health and Wellbeing. This led me to study for and obtain a Hons Degree in Psychology and a PG Certificate in Criminology and Criminal Justice.
However, I knew I wanted to follow a career in therapy.
After studying and researching many forms of therapy I eventually decided that Solution Focused Hypnotherapy delivered the most effective and long-lasting results with minimal adverse effects upon the client.
A career as a Team Leader in Local Government gave me the life experience and understanding of the need for empathetic communication with people. A long career in amateur football as player and manager also developed and deepened my ability to manage and communicate with people at all levels.
Consequently, trust and rapport is something I am careful to develop with my clients, both with me and the therapy. Using the Solution Focused approach means I encourage my clients to think about what they want to achieve and where they want to be rather than the problem that brought them to therapy. I remind them that we do not have a time machine or rewind button so cannot change the past.
One of the first things my clients see in my therapy room is a quote which says, “You cannot move on to the next chapter of your life…if you are constantly re-reading the previous one”.
Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is heavily based in Neuroscience. Everything I discuss with my clients I can back up with the latest scientific research, so everything is evidence based.
In my first meeting with my clients, we go through a Neuroscientific explanation of how our brains respond to Anxiety and Stress. This is a simplified and analogy heavy explanation which demystifies the whole process and is very reassuring for them as this can explain how and why they experience issues such as depression, sleep issues and OCD etc.
As a result of my experience as a therapist, I have developed an appreciation of an holistic approach to therapy and also discuss Visualisation, Manifestation and the Mind – Body Connection with my clients, all of which I can explain from a Neuroscientific perspective.
I love what I do and find it extremely rewarding to see my clients progress and achieve what they set out to achieve and leave their problems in the past.
My name is Jade, I am 44 years old and Mum to 3 children.
My career of 22years so far has been in Palliative Care. From Hospice, to Community Clinical Nurse
Specialist, and now End of Life and Bereavement Specialist Nurse in the hospital.
This area of nursing is something I am extremely passionate about. Meeting patients, their
families/carers at such an emotional time, is a privilege. Providing emotional, psychological and
spiritual support not only to the patient but their families/carers too.
I have also been involved in supporting families when there has been a sudden death.
Having advanced communication skills, being empathetic, listening and being approachable is a must
for me in this role.

I’m Natalie, blending a sporting mindset with holistic coaching. My boxing background and fitness expertise fuel my holistic approach to mental and physical strength. I empower clients to overcome adversity and build confidence.
Natalie is an enthusiastic and empathetic extrovert with a real passion for people and communication.
Her calm and balanced outlook allows her to develop strong bonds and truly understand, appreciate and support the people she helps on a daily basis. Natalie brings a sporting mentality to her coaching sessions as she was a very successful amateur boxing in a time when female boxing was really in its infancy.
As a qualified fitness coach, personal trainer and massage therapist, Natalie believes in a holistic approach to developing all her clients, whether she is coaching them to box at different levels or helping clients to regain their strength and confidence to resume a physical and healthy lifestyle.
Whilst she is very accomplished in coaching physical improvement, Natalie believes that all change essentially begins with the mind. Outlook, realistic supported goals and planning as well as visualisation and stairways planning strategies are all key tools that Natalie implements in her coaching sessions. She has worked with SEND, SEMH and clients with serious physical challenges and had great successes with every person she works with.
Her ability to develop relationships and empower people in challenging circumstances make Natalie an asset to any project she engages with and contributes to.
My own twenty years addiction, now eleven years clean, I began my journey ( I’m not fussed on that word).I felt a need for a spiritual, emotional, psychological and physical cleaning and a daily practice for balance and personal growth.
One of the many components I use in my daily practice is meditation and Reiki. As a Reiki practitioner I use reiki to help to process emotions which the body may have energetically held on to.
Through addiction you have experienced fear, guilt and shame, feelings of self condemnation which can keep you trapped in that cycle.
Reiki can be a gentle treatment of relaxation which would aid sleep.
I have worked many years in the Social Health Care Sector, I have seen the need to incorporate a daily practice which addresses psychological, emotional, physical and Spiritual practice for personal development towards growth, I we have the source to free ourselves from our own internal prisons and to open our hearts to healing.
Hi I’m Jade, I specialise in helping people make sense of overwhelming feelings.
I am a trained psychologist, reiki master teacher, yoga teacher and educator. As well as personal life experience I have embodied a range of skills that help me take a wholistic approach to helping people understand and move through trauma or any negative situations in their life.
I am very passionate about helping people see their light and bring them closer to finding harmony and balance within.
My professional background varies from professional painter and decorator and architectural 3D designer. For the last year I have been a mentor and childcare practitioner where I helped children to deal with emotional issues caused by trauma.
I am also a second degree black belt in Shaolin Kung Fu and have been an instructor for 13 years teaching self defense and also Tai Chi which is used to channel inner peace and helps relieve stress, anxiety and improve flexibility and well being.
A bit about me, I have been a deeply spiritual person for the last ten years of my life, working through my own struggles and finding ways of living in alignment, which led me down a path of gaining my Practitioners Diploma in Crystal Healing, Advanced Crystal Healing, Chakra and Aura Balancing and Mindfulness Diploma. From this, I set up a Crystal Healing Jewellery business, a way for
people to have healing with them whenever they needed it.
I have naturally been drawn to helping people in different aspects and am currently a Person Centered Trainee Counsellor, with my Level 2 and Level 3 behind me and currently studying for my Level 4. I have experience with a range of different clients with a
